I only have 1 member of staff do I really need mystaffmanager?
Yes, if you employ anything from one part-timer or more you need to do things right or put yourself at risk of an employment tribunal (amongst other things)
Is the 7-day free trial period really free?
Yes, and you have no obligation to subscribe once the 7 day free trial period is up.
Will you need my credit card details?
No, you can try the site and all its features without having to provide your credit card details.
Can I sign up without the free trial?
Of course, but why not try it first – you get to use all the features without any commitment
What happens if I sign up for the free trial but then do not wish to proceed?
No problem, it really is a try before you buy. You get all the features but do not have to commit long term. Do remember that, if you choose not to subscribe, all the staff details you have inputted will be lost. Mystaffmanager will remind you that your trial period is about to end
Should I choose to subscribe, how long to I commit for?
You subscribe for 12months, no less, no more (unless you choose to re-subscribe of course)
Isn’t this just another document site?
No, mystaffmanager is much more than just another document site. Yes, it does provide documents but all documents are personalised and are produced for you automatically – you are not just given a template to complete. You also get much more; if you have a problem particular to your business, you can ask yourstaffmanager and get a bespoke response. Mystaffmanager will also remind you of key events and keep you up to date with key people information through a newsletter. In addition, you get free"how to" downloads.
Isn’t it complicated to use?
Many sites are excellent but they are very complex. Mystaffmanager is designed to be easy to use. Once you have put your own staff details in, you are a couple of clicks away from performing the major tasks that affect you if you employ staff. Mystaffmanager guides you through each task you want to perform and even reminds you when key dates are around the corner. The good thing is that if you are stuck and want an answer, mystaffmanager can answer your personalised question with a personalised answer.
Does it help me comply with the law?
Most definitely yes. Compliance with the law is difficult as there are many things you have to do and ignorance is, as they say, no defence. Mystaffmanager helps you by providing you with the necessary documentation but also guidance as to how to complete it. It flags up those occurrences where you need to be particularly careful.
Can I put all my staff members on to mystaffmanager?
Yes, in fact it would be recommended. You can add as many staff members, as you want. You effectively buy a licence to submit a certain number of staff members. If you expand, mystaffmanager expands with you (you just pay a little more for extra licenses)
What happens if I am having technical difficulties?
Just ask mystaffmanager by popping a question down in ask your staff manager. This will not guide you to more FAQ’s; all your questions are answered personally
Should I save the documents?
Yes, this is important. All documents should be saved on your computer (and backed up should you have the facility)
What happens if I cannot find exactly the document I am looking for?
Mystaffmanager will provide you with the main documents you need to address issues from recruitment to retirement. However, if you require something not provided, just press quote me feature and you will be contacted to discuss this further?
What happens if I have a problem with a member of my staff?
Easy, just put your question and details in the box and mystaffmanager will guide you through what you need to do – personally!
What happens if I lose my log in details?

How do I get started?
Sign up using the 7 day free trial then have a look at the “how to use my staff manager". You will see just how easy it is to add staff members on to the site and to produce documents, as you need them. You will also see how easy it is to get help and to set reminders.
